One day it's sunny with a slight breeze, and I am walking around in shorts and a t-shirt at the Spring Red and White Game at Memorial Stadium. That nigh it's refreshing to be spending some time in the cool basement with a good group of friends.
We girls love playing Hedbanz. We have the new spin-off version Act-Up, which includes some charades.
I have been enjoying playing pool in the basement. We spent some time a few weeks ago rearranging a bit down there in the man cave, giving us a little more room around the pool table. Every now and then I'll go practice / play against myself. Still make some of those mistakes like scratching on the 8-ball from time to time, which is an automatic loss, but I think I'm improving overall.
I hope that 10 years from now my friends and I are still taking a random fun photo like this. :-)
The next morning I wake up to the soothing sound of some rain, and I walk out and am thankful for some moisture. The wind picks up as the day goes on, and it becomes not as pleasant. It turned into snow before the day was over, and some people were stranded where they were in other parts of the state due to unsafe road conditions.
Woke up that following morning to below freezing temperatures, but later that day the sun came out and it felt like a cool spring day. I was in charge of the April birthday party at work that day. We played a little game to get to know the residents, I played on my ukulele, and we ate some cake and ice cream. I played some short and simple songs, but it was fun.
